If only one user is locked out, have another user in Great Plains go to (Setup | System | User Activity) and delete the stuck user. If all users are locked, follow the directions below.


  • On the Server:  open Query Analyzer (Programs>Microsoft SQL Server>Query Analyzer)
  • Log into the Database as sa
  • Change drop down database to Dynamics/Great Plains
  • In the query box, type delete activity
  • Click Query Menu Title
  • Move cursor to Execute and click right mouse button
  • Close Query Analyzer
  • Reopen Dynamics/Great Plains and problem users should be able to log in
